Six-year-old detective Frida is investigating her biggest case yet: The
man who pretends to be her father at home is a fraud. Her real
father—she’s certain of it—is Freddie Mercury. Her journey takes her to
the middle of nowhere, where Frida learns that the truth isn’t out there but within herself.
MANU´S NOTES
I want to tell Frida's story as a comedy — a six-year-old detective who turns her longing for a closer relationship with her father into a case to be solved, and sets off to find the truth. This short film is intended for children and I want to tell this story as a comedy, but then with moments of realism. So far, I started to make first sketches and approaches to the figure of Frida. Everything is work in progress and I like to share a small part of it here.
